Alain Couture made his mark on the music scene as the lead singer of Mercedes Band, a group that energized Quebec audiences throughout the 1990s on the television show L’Heure J.M.P., hosted by Jean-Marc Parent. Over the years, he has also lent his voice to recording sessions and tours for numerous artists, including Céline Dion, Johnny Hallyday, Garou, Luc Plamondon, Ginette Reno, Bon Jovi, Aldo Nova, Frank Marino, Éric Lapointe, and Luba. With a similarly raspy voice and a striking physical resemblance, it was only natural for Alain to pay tribute to Rod Stewart, an artist he has admired since his teenage years.
