MTA is a live entertainment and booking agency founded in Montreal in 2005. We book artists for performing arts venues, festivals, companies, municipalities, bars and restaurants and private events throughout Quebec.
The roster
More than 130 artists and acts: tribute bands, live and cover bands, solo acts and duos, country bands, DJs and hosts. The online catalogue sorts them by category, so you can compare acts before you even contact us.
For presenters and venues
A programmer needs to know whether a show fits their audience and room, and whether it will sell tickets. We send what helps you decide: past dates, the technical rider, live videos and tour availability. We then handle the contract, the rider and coordination with your technical team.
For companies and private events
The right act depends on the audience, the moment in the evening and the constraints of the venue: volume, stage space, curfew. From that, we narrow the field to three or four relevant options with video samples, then handle the booking. If the venue is not equipped, we also supply sound, lighting and staging.
What we take on
Tailored selection, negotiation of fee and terms, the contract and its cancellation clauses, the technical rider checked against what the venue can provide, arrival and setup times, and follow-up on the day. You deal with one person from the first call to the end of the show.
