Jaume chante Dassin

Singer, Pianist and Stage Performer From an early age, Claude Jaume developed a genuine passion for music. At just 10 years old, he began playing the organ and piano, two instruments that would profoundly shape his artistic journey. Curious and passionate, he quickly broadened his musical horizons by exploring guitar, bass, and singing. He also refined his musical skills through jazz piano studies at Cégep de Saint-Laurent. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to open for renowned artists, including Daniel Bélanger in 1996, Les Respectables in 2002, and Les Salebarbes in 2024. His stage experience reached new heights when he joined ABBA Memories, a tribute show celebrating the legendary Swedish group. With this production, he performed at some of Quebec's most prestigious venues, including the Grand Théâtre de Québec, Place des Arts in Montreal, and the Capitole de Québec. His career has also taken him internationally, including to China, where he performed at the Beijing Arts Festival in the summer of 2010. Today, Claude Jaume presents a show that is especially close to his heart: “Il était une fois nous deux – JAUME chante DASSIN,” a heartfelt tribute to one of French music's most beloved artists, Joe Dassin. Accompanied by six musicians, he invites audiences to rediscover the unforgettable melodies and timeless songs that have touched generations. With his warm, captivating voice, natural stage presence, and heartfelt interpretations, Claude Jaume brings Joe Dassin's musical world back to life while adding his own personal touch.
