A stage curtain does one job nothing else does as well: it hides what needs hiding. Cables, cases, prep areas and unattractive walls disappear behind a clean backdrop, and the stage immediately reads better in photos and on video.
It also serves three other purposes: defining the wings and performer entrances, absorbing some reverberation in an over-live room, and providing a neutral surface for lighting or projection.
MTA coordinates fabric choice, dimensions and rigging to suit your stage: full backdrop, side legs, high borders or zone dividers. To check with the venue: available rigging points or the need for free-standing structures, ceiling height, and the flame-retardant treatment requirements that apply to the venue.
