Sound is the one thing guests only notice when it fails: a speech nobody hears at the back of the room, a microphone that squeals, a band too loud for the space. MTA supplies and operates sound systems for corporate events, shows, festivals and receptions, in Montreal and throughout Quebec.
What the rental includes
A PA system sized for the room or outdoor site, stage monitors for performers, handheld, headset and lectern microphones for speeches, the mixing console and the technician who runs it from sound check to teardown. Depending on the event, we add stage lighting, staging and screens so all the technical elements arrive coordinated.
Choosing the right system
Three things determine the system: the type of content (speeches, background music or a full band), the audience size and the layout of the venue. A 200-person conference and a company party with a live band in the same room need very different equipment. We start from your program and floor plan to propose what is needed — neither undersized nor oversized.
For outdoor events, we factor in the distance to cover, neighbours, available power and weather. For shows, we check the performers’ technical rider against what the venue already provides, so you only rent what is missing.

Because MTA also books the performers, sound is planned together with the program: the technician knows the run of show, musicians’ requirements are confirmed before setup, and you do not have to coordinate the crew and the artists separately.
