The adventure began in 2010, during a trip to Las Vegas by Gill Poitras. Inspired by the concept of Dueling Pianos, where two pianists play off each other and interact with the audience, he decided to put his own spin on the format. When he returned, he teamed up with his longtime musical partner, Alexandre Racine, an accomplished pianist and talented impressionist. Together, they created a show where musical performances, humour, and songs come together in a festive and engaging atmosphere. Alexandre Racine and Gill Poitras are The Singing Pianos.
